Did you know that Pirates RFC is also home to a thriving Squash & Racketball club? Tucked just behind the main stand at Westholme

The Penzance Pirates Squash & Racketball Club offers two high-quality courts, a buzzing programme of weekly sessions, league play, coaching, and a friendly welcome for players of all ages and abilities.

Weekly Sessions for Everyone

Whether you’re looking for fitness, fun, or competition, there’s something for everyone:

Session Time
Women’s Squash & Racketball - Monday 5 pm – 6 pm
Club Night (all welcome) - Monday 6 pm – 8 pm
Racketball Night - Tuesday 5 pm – 7 pm
Cornwall League Matches - Wednesday & Thursday from 7 pm

Courts are also available to book seven days a week through the easy online SportyHQ system.

A Friendly, Inclusive Club

The Penzance Pirates Squash & Racketball Club prides itself on being a welcoming community:

“Tall, small, little, large, old and young”—everyone is encouraged to get involved.

Affordable membership is just £80 per year, giving full access to courts, sessions, and league play.

The club has a qualified coach, Nigel Bell, to support players of all levels.

Top players represent the club in the Cornwall County Leagues, with some even competing on the international stage.

Spotlight on Women’s Squash & Racketball

For women interested in trying the sport in a supportive environment, Monday evenings (5 pm – 6 pm) are dedicated to a Women’s Squash & Racketball session.
