There will be many in the local rugby fraternity who will remember Arthur Edwards who passed away earlier this month at the age of 82.
Welshman Arthur, who lived in Penwith, Cumbria, was a former Pirates’ Colts Secretary and a one-time Fixture Secretary of Penzance & Newlyn RFC, who later became Chairman of Mounts Bay RFC which folded in 2009.
Besides his involvement in rugby, was also a driving force for several years at Paul Cricket Club.
Condolences are expressed to Arthur’s wife Ann and all family members, with his service and cremation to take place at Eden Valley Crematorium in Penrith on Friday, 24th April at 3.30pm.
